Regular Taxi

You have two options when it comes to getting a regular taxis that you can find anywhere in Bali.

Either you can take a safe taxi company like bluebird, where they always run by the meter or you can take another taxi company where you negotiate a price before the ride.

Be careful with these kinds of taxi companies as they mostly do try to rip you off. It would be recommend taking one with a meter.

These taxi applications is cheaper than regular taxis. For the Uber application you need a valid credit card or PayPal account to use the app. For Grabtaxi you can both use cash or credit card for payment.

KuraKura

KuraKura is a convenient public shuttle bus service that operates in the more popular tourist areas af Kuta, Legian, Seminyk, Sanur, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua and Ubud. The fare varies from route to route but ranges from between Rp. 20.000 ~ Rp. 80.000 for a single trip.

It is possible to buy tree types of tickets – either a single trip, a day pass or a value card for multiple trips.

Go-jek

Go-jek is an online application based motorcycle taxi service where you from the mobile app can order a go-jek driver.

The application is very similar to Uber and Grabtaxi where you can either plug in your address or use your current location.

When using go-jek you will also be appointed a driver near your pick up location to get the fastest service.

By plugging in an end destination, you will know the price before you order and can either pay by go-jek credit or cash.
